Creamy Havarti takes on a whole new level of flavor after being marinated in a fragrant blend of olive oil, garlic, fresh herbs, and red pepper flakes. Perfect for serving as an appetizer or adding to your favorite cheese board.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp chopped basil
  • 1 Tbsp chopped thyme
  • ¼ tsp or more red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 6 oz Roth Creamy Havarti, cubed

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, parsley, basil, thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add cubed Creamy Havarti to the bowl, making sure each piece is coated in the marinade.
  3. Let the cheese marinate for at least 1 hour at room temperature for the flavors to meld together.
  4. Serve immediately or transfer the marinated cheese to a jar and refrigerate for later use. Bring to room temperature before serving.
