Leek Puff Pastry with Dill Havarti is a deliciously savory treat made with flaky puff pastry, creamy Roth Dill Havarti, and a flavorful leek and onion mixture. Perfect for appetizers or a light meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 4-6 oz Roth Dill Havarti
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 leeks, halved and thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of oil and the onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
  3. Add the leeks, garlic, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking until softened and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6 rectangles. Mark a border around each piece and prick the middle with a fork to keep the center from rising.
  5. Lay strips of Roth Dill Havarti onto the middle of each piece of puff pastry. Top with the leek and onion mixture.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
