Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (your choice, like sourdough or ciabatta)
- 4 oz Roth Grand Cru cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons fig jam
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1 cup fresh arugula
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Method
- Prepare the Sandwich: Spread fig jam on two slices of bread. Layer with shredded Grand Cru cheese, prosciutto, and fresh arugula. Top with the remaining slices of bread.
- Butter the Bread: Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich.
- Grill the Sandwiches: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden and crispy.
