This festive and fun carrot-shaped cheese ball combines the savory flavors of Gouda and ranch, making it perfect for a holiday spread or party platter. Serve with crackers or veggies for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup green onion, chopped
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1 cup Roth Gouda cheese, finely shredded, divided
- 1 cup Roth Buffalo Ranch Gouda cheese, finely shredded, divided
- 1 bunch parsley
Method
- In a bowl, combine the Gouda cheese and Buffalo Ranch Gouda cheese. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, green onion, ranch seasoning, and 1 cup of the mixed Gouda cheese. Stir until well combined.
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Using parchment or wax paper, shape the cheese mixture into the form of a carrot.
- Press the remaining 1 cup of mixed shredded Gouda cheese onto the outside of the carrot-shaped cheese ball.
- Top the cheese ball with a bunch of parsley to resemble the leafy top of a carrot, gently pressing the parsley into the cheese.
- Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables for dipping.
