This festive Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball is a crowd-pleaser that combines creamy cream cheese with savory Gouda, sweet dried cranberries, and crunchy pecans. Perfect for holiday gatherings or as a tasty appetizer for any occasion, this cheese ball is both easy to make and impressive in presentation.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Gouda cheese, shredded and divided
  • 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped and divided
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped and divided
  • ¼ cup chives, chopped and divided
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, ¾ of the Gouda cheese, ¾ of the toasted pecans, ¾ of the dried cranberries, ¾ of the chive, and garlic powder until well combined.
  2. Place mixture in the center of a piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper and cover completely with wrap while forming it into a ball shape. Place in fridge until ready to serve.
  3. Just before serving, combine remaining Gouda, pecans, dried cranberries, and chives in a shallow bowl or plate. Unwrap the ball and roll in cranberry-pecan mixture.
