These grilled cheese roll-ups are a fun twist on the classic grilled cheese, filled with creamy Roth Havarti cheese. Rolled up and pan-fried to golden perfection, they're an easy snack or lunch that both kids and adults will love.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread, crusts removed
- 1 (6oz) Roth Creamy Havarti Cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Method
- Slice the crusts off of each slice of bread, then use a rolling pin to flatten. Add finely shredded cheese to each slice, making sure you leave a small strip at the end to brush with butter.
- Tightly but carefully roll up each slice to the end, brush with melted butter, then roll shut and place seam-side-down. Brush all over with melted butter.
- Add roll ups to a dry pan seam-side-down over low-medium heat and fry until golden all over with the cheese starting to leak out. Use your tongs to frequently turn them.
