This Cheesy Breakfast Strata means puffed, custardy eggs snuggled with Canadian Bacon and English muffins. Easy to make, feeds a crowd, and absolutely bubbling with our creamy, mild Havarti cheese.

Ingredients
- 6 English muffins, split and cut crosswise
- 10 slices Canadian bacon, cut crosswise
- 7 eggs
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- Tiny pinch of nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1 (6-oz) block Roth Creamy Havarti, shredded
- Chopped chives, for garnish
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Arrange muffins and Canadian bacon in a 12-inch gratin or casserole dish, back and forth, side by side.
- Whisk the eggs, mustard, nutmeg and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Add milk and whisk to combine. Pour the egg mixture over the muffins and let sit about 10 minutes, if you can.
- Sprinkle shredded Havarti cheese on top, and bake 50 minutes, until puffed, browned and bubbling. Let rest another 10 minutes before diving in. Garnish with a sprinkling of chives, and serve.
