Ingredients
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, cut into quarters
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup buttermilk or milk
- 4 ounces Buttermilk Blue Crumbles
- 1 tablespoon chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
- Pinch of salt & fresh ground pepper
Method
- Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, Buttermilk Blue Crumbles, chives, lemon juice (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended and creamy. Use the back of a spoon to press some of the blue cheese crumbles into the dressing for added flavor.
- Assemble the Salad: Place each wedge of iceberg lettuce on a plate. Top with crumbled bacon, cherry tomatoes, and chopped chives.
