These delightful puffs combine the tangy flavor of buttermilk blue cheese with sweet pomegranate seeds, all encased in golden, flaky puff pastry. Perfect as a festive appetizer or elegant snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ½ cup Roth Buttermilk Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400° then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold puff pastry sheet then cut into 9 squares.
  3. Mix together egg and water for the egg wash. Brush over puff pastry squares.
  4. Top with Buttermilk Blue Crumbles in the middle of each square. Fold over two opposite corners of the puff pastry so they meet in the middle. Press together.
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Top with pomegranate seeds and extra Buttermilk Blue Crumbles.
