At a speakcheesy in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, a talented group of women in cheese gathered for a fall-inspired SAVEUR Supper. The result was a fascinating glimpse into the world of food science, an exchange of culinary knowledge, and a very real sense of how cheese can bring extraordinary people together. Also as a result, four of our beloved cellar-aged cheeses were on display inside of the beautiful menu prepared by our friends at Murray’s Cheese – Canela, Grand Cru, Buttermilk Blue, and Aged Gouda, artfully crafted by our food scientist and cheesemaker, Madeline Kuhn. A menu so stunning, in fact, that we had to create this beautiful cheese collection inspired by the women who have shaped the industry. Roth Canela

Experts at producing award-winning American Original cheeses, our cheesemakers continue to craft the beautiful and unique, limited production Canela. Named after the Spanish word for “Cinnamon” this Spanish-inspired American Original is made with fresh, Wisconsin Cow’s milk then hand-rubbed with a cinnamon and paprika blend for its signature reddish-orange rind and sweet flavor. This one-of-a-kind cheese has been an American Cheese Society winner seven years in a row.

Roth Aged Gouda

Here in the rolling hills of Wisconsin, we have crafted a new Gouda that highlights the best-in-class cheesemaking we do every day at our Roth creamery. New Roth Aged Gouda is made with fresh, local Wisconsin milk, then cured for at least six months in the Roth Cellars in Monroe, Wisconsin.
