Creamy Havarti Breakfast Bagel

A hearty, flavorful breakfast bagel topped with creamy avocado, fresh tomato, melted Roth Havarti Cheese, a fried egg, and a touch of chipotle mayo. Bacon optional!

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel, sliced and toasted
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1 slice of tomato
  • 2 oz Roth Havarti Cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg, fried
  • 1-2 slices of bacon (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chipotle mayo
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Toast the bagel to your desired crispness.
  2. Spread chipotle mayo on both halves of the toasted bagel.
  3. Top the bottom half with avocado slices, then add the tomato and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Place the shredded Havarti Cheese on top of the tomato, then set the bagel under the broiler or use a toaster oven to melt the cheese.
  5. While the cheese melts, fry the egg to your liking. Add bacon if using.
  6. Place the fried egg (and bacon) on top of the melted cheese and close the bagel with the top half.
