A fun and savory twist on the classic pigs in a blanket, these bites feature smoky Lil Smokies sausages wrapped in buttery crescent dough, paired with sharp Grand Cru cheese and sweet apple slices. Perfect for game day or a party appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Lil Smokies sausages
  • 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 oz Grand Cru Cheese, sliced
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp poppy seeds

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and use a pizza cutter or knife to cut along the perforated lines. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles.
  3. On the longer edge of each triangle, place a slice of apple, a slice of Grand Cru cheese, and a sausage. Roll the dough up around the ingredients and place on the baking sheet, seam side down.
  4. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  5. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  6. Serve with honey mustard for dipping.
