Ingredients
- 4 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, white, or whole grain)
- 6 oz Roth Gouda Cheese, sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Method
- Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place the sliced Roth Gouda Cheese on top of the unbuttered sides of two slices of bread, then top each with the remaining bread slices (buttered side facing out).
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwiches on the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, pressing down gently with a spatula, until the bread is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Once the cheese is fully melted and the bread is toasted to perfection, remove the sandwiches from the skillet. Slice in half and serve immediately.
