These bite-sized appetizers feature crispy pie crusts topped with sweet fig jam, savory prosciutto, and melted Grand Cru cheese. Garnished with fresh microgreens, they make a delightful and elegant starter for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pre-made pie crusts (contains 2 crusts)
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 4 oz Roth Grand Cru cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices of prosciutto, torn into small pieces
  • Microgreens for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface. Using a round cutter (about 2 inches in diameter), cut out circles of pie dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Spread a small spoonful of fig jam onto each pie crust circle. Sprinkle with shredded Grand Cru cheese. Top each with a small piece of prosciutto.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pie crusts are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with microgreens before serving.
